It’s been a sad week for the nation, and particularly the LGBTQ+ communities, as more and more heartbreaking stories emerge from the devastating shooting that took 49 lives at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.
I don’t have the words, so I’ll leave it to poet Tori Cárdenas, who shared this moving reflection on Twitter about how to cope in the aftermath. A must-read.
And there were many other rainbow-colored messages of solidarity, love, and pride.

Dads who make every game, drive to every practice, and “give up all their vacation time to travel across Canada to watch me play”…this tribute, compiled by the #1 ranked women’s curling team, celebrates the devoted sports dads out there.
